We will always do everything we can to keep your teeth in good health, going the extra mile to save your natural teeth in any way possible, but sometimes it is necessary to perform an extraction. Our friendly, caring team of dental experts will help put you at ease and make you feel comfortable throughout your entire visit.
There are many reasons our dentists may recommend a tooth extraction, we have put together a few of the most common below to help you mentally prepare before your consultation and examination.
Most people do not have enough room in their jaw to fit all 4 wisdom teeth along with all of their molars. It is extremely common to have your wisdom teeth extracted in your late teens or early 20s. They can be removed before or after they have grown in, which we refer to as impacted teeth, or some people may not even have wisdom teeth at all! We will use sedation dentistry so you will not be aware during the extraction procedure and will not feel any pain throughout your appointment.
