If you’re playing “rock ‘n’ roll” with your dentures, your Charlotte dentist, Dr. Berglass at Central Avenue Dental wants you to know that dentures don’t have to be that way. We believe that everyone should be able to feel secure and confident in their smile. Whether you’re missing a few or all of your natural teeth, we can help you achieve a beautiful, natural looking smile that you don’t have to worry about, and that others will find hard to forget.
At Central Avenue Dental, we understand the importance of a smile. If you’re suffering from missing or failing teeth and have given up hope, we want you to know that you don’t have to throw in the towel just yet. We can help you regain the ability to enjoy your favorite foods, speak and laugh with abandon, and give your friends and family the loving, beautiful smile they know is in your heart.
At Central Avenue Dental in Charlotte, we use only the most advanced technology that takes 3D images and converts them into high resolution digital models that we use to create the perfect set of dentures just for you. Your dentures will look so much like your natural teeth (only better), that no one will ever know you weren’t born with them.
We offer a few different types of dentures here in our Charlotte dental office. Which is best for you will depend on many factors including your current state of oral health, whether you are missing some or all of your teeth, the health and density of your jawbone, and more. A consultation with Dr. Berglass will determine if and what type of dentures are a best fit for you.
If you are missing most or all of your teeth, and don’t have a healthy enough jawbone to support dental implants, you will likely be a good candidate for a set of standard full dentures. They will be beautifully custom-made just for you, and bonded with the strongest adhesive for a secure fit.
Partial dentures are used when we want to preserve any of the healthy teeth you have remaining, and replace the rest. Valplast® partials are removable and flexible to move with you as you speak, chew, and smile for a comfortable, natural fit. Partials can also be fixed to surrounding teeth using crowns, or stabilized with dental implants.
This is the most recommended, most secure option when it comes to dentures. If Dr. Berglass thinks you are a healthy candidate for implants (depends on jawbone health), your dentures can be fixed and locked into place for a stable fit that’s just like your natural teeth – only better!
